How to install live wallpapers
It's one thing if you want to change the appearance of several menus, icons, and quite another if you need a smartphone that is completely similar to a miniature PC with the Windows 10 operating system installed on it. In this case, you will have to use at least several different applications. One of the first among those who decided to customize their Android and share the way with the rest, was the user DrDisagree, who published his guide on Reddit.
Install and configure live wallpaper on your smartphone is not so simple. Therefore, if this manual seems too complicated to you, then you can scroll down the page and go to the manual for using the SquareHome 3 and Launcher 10 utilities.
Step 1 . Launch the Play Store and install the Nova Launcher , Nova Launcher Prime , KLWP , KLWP Pro , and Pix Pie Icon pack applications.
Step 2 . Additionally, install Windows 10 Wallpaper or any other wallpaper that you want to use.
Step 3 . Launch Nova Launcher and allow it to be used as the default launcher. If the message does not appear, do it through the menu “Settings” - “General” (section “Devices” ).
Step 4 . Start the Nova Launcher application again and select “Favorites” in the settings.
Step 5 . At the top of the screen, move the slider to “Off” .
Step 6 . Close Nova Launcher and go to the desktop. Remove all icons from the screen. To do this, click on the shortcut and hold, and then in the list that opens, select "Delete . "
Step 7 . Download KLWP Backup files via Google Drive here. The process may vary depending on the model of smartphone used and the version of Android.
Step 8 . After that, go to the menu and select "Import . " A notification will appear, click "OK" to allow the action.
Step 9 . Launch KLWP and open the menu. To do this, swipe to the right, and then select “Download a pre-installed theme” from the list.
Step 10 . Click on the “Exported” tab. Previously loaded presets will be displayed here.
Step 11 . Select a file called Windows X from the list. And then give KLWP all the necessary permissions.
Step 12 . Scroll down to the menu and switch to the Global tab. After that click on the "Save" button to apply all the changes.
Step 13 . After that select “Fix” , “Set as wallpaper” , and then “Desktop” .
After that, live wallpapers will appear on the main screen.
How to change the appearance of icons
If you want to fully customize Android, then you need to change the appearance of application icons. This can be done individually (for example, if you want to leave a shortcut unchanged) using the KLWP program. Instruction:
Step 1 . Click on the "Start" button, which is located in the lower left corner of the screen.
Step 2 . In the list that appears, select the application "KLWP" .
Step 3 . Click on the icon you want to edit and select "Edit . "
After this, the appearance of the icon will change. If you wish, you can edit it again at any time.
How to change live wallpapers
With KLWP, you can change the appearance of icons and live wallpapers at any time. And although sometimes you have to spend a lot of time for this, the easiest way is to customize the interface through the menu at the bottom of the KLWP application. Instruction:
Step 1 . Launch KLWP and go to the Elements tab on the main menu.
Step 2 . Click on the item from the list that you want to edit.
Step 3 . Make any necessary changes and click on the “Save” icon.
The most interesting thing is that all the icons can be completely changed at their discretion. For example, change the logo and background.
How to make the launcher look like Windows 10 Mobile
Step 1 . Install the Launcher 10 or SquareHome 3 app via the Play Store.
Step 2 . Go to the “Settings” menu and in the “Device” section select the “General” item.
Step 3 . Specify the launcher you want to use by default.
After that, the user interface will be similar to Windows 10 Mobile. If you want to disable it and return to the “native” version of Android, then it can be done through the same menu.
And although no application can turn the Android user interface into an exact copy of Windows 10 Mobile, there are quite good utilities that help to achieve the most similar result. The easiest way to change the launcher, but to set up live wallpaper is much more difficult.
Squarehome 3 is a simple utility that allows you to transform Android in Windows 10 Mobile without any problems. The application supports Lives Tiles transparent tiles, widgets and allows you to customize all the elements necessary for customization that will help make Android as close as possible to a Windows smartphone.
KLWP is a more complex application, which may require additional paid software. The program boasts a large number of tools, thanks to which you can fully customize the user interface to your taste. And although it’s not so easy to understand KLWP, as a result you will get a smartphone that looks like a miniature Windows-based PC.
Among the paid applications you can mention Nova Launcher Prime (the paid version of Nova Launcher) for customizing live wallpapers and a set of rounded icons Pixel Pie Icon Pack.
We used the above-described applications for customizing an Android smartphone in our guide. Of course, these are far from the only utilities, so if you know other similar software, then leave your comments below.
